Advanced Mining Works - reported stake in the Ingessana chrome plant; chromite exports to Russia and Turkey
2023 - 2025
C4ADS (May 2025) reports that 'one of the owners of Ingessana Chrome Factory is allegedly Advanced Mining Works' and that, per human-sourced reports, the company 'exports chromite to Russia and Turkey'. C4ADS counts more than 70 chrome-ore cargoes (over 2 million kg) shipped from Sudan to China since the war began and concludes the army 'is likely deriving conflict funds from chromite exports to China, Russia, and Turkey'. Ingessana Hills is in Blue Nile State, under army control.
