Each record carries its own grade. A grade describes the source for that record, not the actor.

Grade A: Official record

Register check: no Bank of Khartoum licence on the Central Bank of the UAE register

2023-01 to 2026-08

The Central Bank of the UAE's registers of January 2023, October 2025 and August 2026 contain no entry for Bank of Khartoum under banks, wholesale banks, finance companies or representative offices (text search for 'Khartoum': no result in any of the three). The dossier's statement that gold proceeds are deposited in a Bank of Khartoum 'branch in Abu Dhabi' rests on the Sudan Transparency and Policy Tracker; the register does not support the existence of a licensed branch. The bank may operate through correspondent accounts or a non-CBUAE-licensed vehicle; that was not established.
