STPT: it 'continued its criminal activities - including drug trafficking, extortion, and highway robbery' while SAF-aligned, and later aligned with the Sudan Shield Forces on the Kordofan front. On 21-22 Nov 2025 the army clashed with the group in Dongola after it refused integration into the 75th Infantry Brigade; its commander (named by the Northern State Security Committee as Hussein Yahia Mohamed Juma Gammari) was injured, dozens were arrested and vehicles/weapons seized.

Their response

  • Army/Northern State Security Committee: the commander 'refused to comply with the directives, showed insubordination' and wore an unauthorised rank; operation conducted 'with high professionalism'. No statement from the group located.
